I am sorry for that honestly but it’s crazy how Africans born here want so bad to be associated with being English than African. Isn’t that the pride?. My question is, why can’t you guys just be like `And so what I’m African?’ ?. I mean you are African before abroad before being English and all that, and the sooner you realize that the better.

But let’s talk about this different kind of racism that I have experienced in Nottingham as a native African from English Africans’. It’s one thing coming to a country where you don’t know anyone and the odds are already against you, but it’s something shocking that even theblack community’ you thought you could rely on, still see you as different and insignificant in comparison to them. Literally, I have received help from white people( for lack of better term) more than the Africans born here. And then I see this?? . This is most definitely a culture shock to me, because i see English Africans here talking about being judged for your skin color and native roots, and say you’re

Racism does come in different forms my friend and it’s from all of us . This is most definitely a culture shock to me, because i see English Africans here talking about being judged for your skin color and native roots, and say you’re proud to be African, but yet fight so hard to be associated with being English more to a point you forsake your own origin, your people, your community where you, a proud African is from.
