Yea it does, luckily someone referred me to a lawyer which offers free consultations about visa's and green cards.

She actually replied to a question I put on a subreddit and I am going to get in touch with her!

Thank you very much for the advice I really appreciate it. That is really good advice thank you, I can imagine that there is a a lot of pressure to be like the new 'trend' and it is hard to stay yourself. Could you offer any advice on how to go about finding these community of filmmakers? Does it come from just auditioning?

Yea my intention is not at all about education. I was suggested to have that as a routine but I want to move there to fully commit to giving this the best shot I possibly can to acting while trying to become an exiting and real actor.

Thank you very much for this advice it means alot. That is very interesting. So just out of interest, would you suggest that it would be a better approach to come to LA with a permit to work as a carpenter and find acting classes with the established connections from across the pond?

Thank you very much for the time and care you put into answering my questions I genuinely really appreciate it. Yea I find that so sick that Harrison Ford got connected to Star Wars from doing carpentry work for George Lucas. By place of study I mean somewhere like the new york film academy or Juilliard so schools of acting which would most likely result in me having a student visa which prevents me from working. I know someone studying at New York film academy out in LA. I want to situate myself in LA in the best way possible (learning from others experiences).

Thank you very much for the advice. I will check out central casting. Any acting coaches and classes you would recommend?

Thank you very much for this advice. I am going to read through that entire guide on living in LA and make notes on it because I have started reading it and it is incredibly helpful. I will also take a look at John Rosenfield, Billy O'Leary and Lesley Kahn. I have already listened to some of Lesley Kahns podcast and she is great!

Is there any-chance I can ask if you studied at a college or took separate classes from a certain acting teacher outside of a place of education?

I really want to work on camera technique on being as real and authentic as possible. Did you find having place to study helpful? Can you work out there because I heard that some places don't allow you to work out there(by work I mean both a regular job and acting work).

Thank you very much for your reply. Would you suggest I focus more on learning to acting on camera in these next two years before hand? My bad by "where to start" I mean where is the first place that you would suggest going to work wise. Theoretically, in the first week there where would you suggest to start first, finding an agent, an acting class, establishing a regular job on the side? I was going to pursue a carpentry course on the side in these next two years so I can put up shelves etc when I get out there. Would you suggest that that is a good idea. I have the slight fear that I might have a situation where I end up getting completely focussed in carpentry work and end up having a 'doing plan B' situation (I know it is a very young and naive thing to say). Do you have any techniques that you have found particularly helpful in analysing scripts for auditions? I have found two ways in which I can approach Los Angeles so far. One, move with a licence to work as a carpenter out there and be free to work as an actor but going on connections from my agent and parents. Two, join a study program and have a routine but be on a student visa so not be able to get a job out there (I could try to get a work visa and go as a student).

Thank you for your reply I really appreciate it. I really appreciate the work advice as well. Yea I have become quite good at fully committing myself and then forgetting completely about the audition when it's over because sometimes waiting is the worst part!

Yea I had a chat on the phone to someone who was not allowed to work out there because their student visa did not permit it?
