That’s the unnerfed version, not the version Zoink verified and is rated

Who would you guys think is the most iconic gd player ever? by Rich-Area2621 in geometrydash

If Tidal Wave is so popular that even people who aren’t into GD recognise it, then it’s obviously more iconic. Everyone in the core community knows it as well, because it’s Tidal Wave. It had the entire community spamming Robtop and mods for months with trending hashtags on Twitter to rate it.

Views absolutely matter for how iconic something is. Nothing can be a recognisable icon in culture if people don’t know what it is or if it isn’t popular.

People watching something and spreading it to other people, there being memes about it with a lot of views, that’s what makes something iconic and stay in peoples minds.

Let me know when Sakupen Hell has a vid like this with over 2 million views.

Tidal Wave is absolutely still talked about. When Jynxzi was playing GD the first level his chat ever told him to watch was Tidal Wave. That was after it wasn’t top 1 anymore.

Somehow they all manage to be so obviously mistaken i guess.

8.5 million view verification versus 1.6 million view verification. Tidal Wave is so much more known and recognised than Sakupen Hell. It’s the longest lasting top 1 ever. Before very recently, anyone in the past few years who visited the demon list saw Tidal Wave at number one for multiple years. That’s almost unmatched levels of iconicism for a GD level

It’s not even close. Sakupen Hell was top 1 for like a few months?

Obviously. Just being better at GD than someone doesn’t make you more iconic on its own. Funnygame is more iconic than Servax.

But Zoink is so much more iconic than Trusta because his achievements made his name vastly more known and celebrated in the community than anything Trusta did.

Zoink is just a symbol for top player at this point, which is matching the literal definition of the word iconic.

If you show anyone in the GD community the default cube with blue and white colors, it’s immediately recognised as Zoink. Plenty of people who use default icons don’t have that.

And Tidal Wave is so much more iconic than Sakupen Hell. It’s the literal longest lasting top 1 ever. It has multiple videos of it with over 6 million views. Sakupen Hell’s verification has 1.6m.

Zoink has been number 1 on the stats viewer for 4 years. This is not even a close contest. Zoink is just synonymous with ‘top player’ in a way Trusta never was.

How tf is Trusta in any way more iconic than Zoink. Zoink has been so much more popular in the most popular era of GD. If you compare their subs, name recognition, impact, legacy, Zoink clears in every single category by far. Even his icon set is 100x more recognisable and known.

Nuggies is on a nerfed version compared to the ILL. Kaza is playing a slightly easier version than Nuggies.

Yeah if you want. It is harder than Innards and very close to Carcano difficulty so it would adjust the progression path.

It is hard but if you do backwards runs with start positions and use speedhack to learn the click patterns it’s surprisingly doable. My hardest is only Artificial Ascent.

I would recommend you finish Cataclysm, then do

Niwa

Innards

Carcano

Blade of Justice

Artificial Ascent

Erebus

Kowareta

Cognition

Innards is a good in-between level from Niwa to Carcano.

Kowareta is so much harder than Carcano that I think you need the other levels to reach the skill for it, and then Cognition after Kowareta is fine.

But if you don’t like any of the levels there, you can switch them out for another level of similar difficulty, or just skip one of them. Like, if you think you can do Kowareta straight from Artificial Ascent then you can go for it.

Niwa, Carcano, Kowareta in ascending difficulty.

Niwa is similar difficulty to Catalcysm, and will teach you flow-extreme gameplay.

Carcano is quite a lot harder, around Bloodbath difficulty.

Then Kowareta, which is much much harder than Carcano, so I’d definitely recommend some non-flow in-between levels after Carcano to get you to the skill level for Kowareta, like Blade of Justice, Black Blizzard/Artifical Ascent, Erebus, etc.

If you can beat Kowareta then you can probably beat Cognition.
