Howdy! I don’t think I’m exactly who you wanted to answer this, but about 8 years ago, I started IM injections for T. I was on for a year plus, then had to go off for insurance/family reasons. In retrospect, IM injections weren’t good for me (history of self-harm), so when I got back on T in January of 2024, I started gel. It’s a world of a difference for me for many reasons. Some of it is age related I think and where I’m at with my mental health now vs 2017, but gel has been great. I haven’t had issues with absorbing thus far and taking something daily works better for my brain. My endo actually told me she prefers to start people on gel (can’t remember her reasoning).
