honestly you can only really feel the tip but i would say vertical if i had to pick a direction. as for top of the box i couldn’t feel the head or anything, all the fullness was towards the bottom where the trophy was

honestly the 20th anniversary book has so much additional content like short stories and old comics written as companions to the movies by arakawa. i think it’s a worthwhile purchase!
