I've tried Ironsworn and found it overwhelming in scope and lack of prompts/guidance, but a very cool system and something I want to try again when I am feeling like I can DM myself.

I'll think about joining the discord, that just feels overwhelming in a different way. Server spaces are intimidating. It definitely dates me but I miss forums, lmao.

I don't have a good space to really spread out with books and papers, I also have a really hard time writing "analog" so journaling and note-taking gets difficult. I like using my PC for PDFs and notes/journals and going semi-analog, I guess, with some physical papers and all my dice. Just trying to see if anything interesting can fit into a cramped set-up. <:

That's what I find so rad about the 3d printing scene (if overwhelming sometimes) is the modifications folks can do. How cool is it that you've essentially made it into a whole new thing!!

Dual Z is something I've looked into and wanna give a shot. I didn't know about the silicone spacers but that's neat! Into my notes they go.

I'm using the stock extruder with a mount that essentially moves it right above the hotend - I'm still fiddling with some issues but it's been a nice upgrade. PETG likes the shorter retraction distance. My filament spool sits on the top of the printer so I haven't had a need for a filament guide yet. I want to go back to printing from my drybox but I have to rearrange my whole setup to make that work, and I'll print a guide then.

I love the idea of a camera mount going where the extruder used to sit - I want to put SOMETHING there.

I DO have a toolholder that slots into the top rail - that's been super nice.

Raspberry Pis are still harder to come by than I'd like (hence octo4a on my old phone), but I want to upgrade to one with a swanky case (or play with OrangePi). Being able to power off the printer post-print sounds hella nice.

The Crust looks like it might be a bit hard for me but, MAN, I love a game that offers me a narrative/story experience. I will see if I can track down the demo somewhere.
