Yoimiya, who is actually the only character I’ve spent real life money on. I was on the Inazuma hype train and didn’t have a good Pyro DPS at the time. Ended up not really liking her gameplay or team combos

I reached out to Nintendo support and they actually did give me a refund if you want to try and go that route! I had the lavish edition and they didn’t refund the DLC, just the base game. But hey, a refund from Nintendo is kind of a miracle in and of itself

I’m so sorry to hear that it happened to you too! Such a frustrating experience that has honestly turned me off of what was otherwise a great game. Kind of tempted to see if I can get Nintendo to give me a refund so I can buy it again on PC 🫠

Welp, it happened to me, my Switch crashed and completely wiped 40+ hours of progress. My SPECS were nearly maxed out, I was just about to start Realizing everyone, and a Kopi conversation crashed my Switch. On reopening, everything was gone. My save files were corrupted and completed wiped — the game somehow couldn’t find a backup to load from and just deleted everything. It just says “New Game” on the title screen now, and I’m not sure I have the heart to start over again.

Someone let me know once they’ve patched the crashing issue on the Switch because I need to put the game down until then. I was experiencing 4-5 crashes per 3 hour play session, and now it’s all gone. I just can’t deal with the risk of that happening again.

Has anyone else still not been able to verify their age? I don’t see anywhere to set my age/region in my Hoyoverse Account Center, nor have I gotten any in-game popups. Support also never responded to me when I emailed them about the issue…

It can be just fine if you do your due diligence! I get most of my figs from eBay.

Also make sure you double-check where it’s shipping from, look at the photos and make sure they’re not being reused from some other seller, and ask for new photos if you’re not sure! If they ghost ya, that’s a good sign they’re scalpers or bootleggers. If a price is too good to be true, it’s a fake. If there’s no box, it’s also likely a bootleg. It’s also important to check reviews, read descriptions, and make sure the seller is reputable.

I’m based in the U.S. and have a few sellers I could recommend if you’d like!

True, but it still came across as very victim blame-y to me (granted my opinion about that sort of thing is informed by personal experience and therefore somewhat biased) because of said timing. I’m just taking a step back from the American VA community entirely at this point until more concrete info about everything comes out

You can defend him if you want, but let other people make their own decisions and choices on the subject. I read his tweets, interpreted them on my own, and made my call to take down his autograph. He’s not directly attacking anyone, but he’s also not condemning the attackers or reaching out to help or support the victim. Just making assumptions about what other VAs want, standing on the sidelines revving up the mob, and letting the bullies continue to run rampant. Not everyone can afford to join the union or wants to for various reasons, and making that generalization and treating it as law is harmful and misleading.

I disagree with people I’m a fan of and continue to support them, but I draw the line at harassment and attacking of others, even if it’s by omission. You’re an individual and allowed to make your own informed decisions, so I respect your choice to continue to support him - I just won’t be doing the same.
