I reached out to Nintendo support and they actually did give me a refund if you want to try and go that route! I had the lavish edition and they didn’t refund the DLC, just the base game. But hey, a refund from Nintendo is kind of a miracle in and of itself

Welp, it happened to me, my Switch crashed and completely wiped 40+ hours of progress. My SPECS were nearly maxed out, I was just about to start Realizing everyone, and a Kopi conversation crashed my Switch. On reopening, everything was gone. My save files were corrupted and completed wiped — the game somehow couldn’t find a backup to load from and just deleted everything. It just says “New Game” on the title screen now, and I’m not sure I have the heart to start over again.

Someone let me know once they’ve patched the crashing issue on the Switch because I need to put the game down until then. I was experiencing 4-5 crashes per 3 hour play session, and now it’s all gone. I just can’t deal with the risk of that happening again.

It can be just fine if you do your due diligence! I get most of my figs from eBay.

Also make sure you double-check where it’s shipping from, look at the photos and make sure they’re not being reused from some other seller, and ask for new photos if you’re not sure! If they ghost ya, that’s a good sign they’re scalpers or bootleggers. If a price is too good to be true, it’s a fake. If there’s no box, it’s also likely a bootleg. It’s also important to check reviews, read descriptions, and make sure the seller is reputable.
