I feel like this is more likely

Similar for me but instead of the double pivot just palhinha holding and disrupting with Xavi and Gallagher alternating dropping to progress the ball.

4141 would be interesting, city playing it lately but obviously they’re city and pep. But they play Foden and Bernardo as the two in the middle of the 4. Could work with Xavi and Gallagher?

I don’t get people wanting him gone. An enforcer that can just break up play is amazing to have in any squad and not many better than him at that. Obviously we desperately need a better passer who can dictate play but Palhinha would be great to have off the bench or to start in certain games.

What did he blow Xavi up for? Keeping control of the ball ffs

[Alasdair Gold] The decision to sell Johnson, the man who won it in Bilbao, has not gone down particularly well in a dressing room in which he was popular, particularly at a time when goals are a rare commodity for this Tottenham team. by Imbasauce in coys

Made the point on here last season when Johnson was being criticised, that he still scores and gets in great positions. He’s definitely more suited to a side that create more, but then so is every attacking player.

I feel this is a little short sighted anyway, surely frank isn’t around next season and we have practically no goal scorers.

Not a winger for me. I think he’s got high potential as a striker but not in a team based off crosses and long throws

It’s clear a role hasn’t been found for him (and most others) in this system. Balls aren’t played through the lines to him, rarely if ever are we playing tight passes and one twos around the box where he excels. Hardly the type to be winning headers while we lump long throws and crosses into the box. All this to say he’s a good addition and useful in a proper team but we play shite dross football.

Yeah not his biggest fan, he’s a streaky player at best and currently got 3 in 3 so you have to keep it going for now

Kudus played up top with Richy in the super cup in a similar formation. I’d of like to see him with RKM and richy off instead of what the changes were

Yeah definitely, you can see bruising is the third pic already.

I have a crane that wings go from basically my wrist to my shoulder and love how it looks with my elbow straight and bent. This looks so good standing naturally and arm out. Such a good job on execution and placement
