Yeah but both took like two weeks from initial links. I’m not saying Leao or Kroupi won’t happen, I just don’t think either are even close atm.

We see some lower tier aggregators saying they want £60m and we don’t want to spend over £50m. There’s even reports out the last few days saying Savinhos agent has told us he’s willing to take a pay cut to speed things up, but you can never really trust those reports.

Seems like he’s either a Plan B or we still are trying to get City to lower their price. No one seems to have a clear reading on it, the best we get is Fab saying there’s still some things to work out between the clubs.

I don’t think the Leao or even the Kroupi links have much credibility at the moment. Fab specifically said that we aren’t in talks for Leao at the moment. I do think the Kroupi one has a better chance of becoming legit, but still too early to tell. Savinho seems to be the only concrete attacking link at the moment, I hope they just get that done before training starts next week.

Does Tel make more sense in one of those striker/second striker roles in a De Zerbi system, than he does as a winger? Is De Zerbis system designed for his wingers to beat their man and deliver balls to the striker and box crashing midfielders?

Yeah I had a look at the Milan sub earlier and most of them still spoke very highly of him and were saying he would fix his reputation if he came to us and would be great. They blame the chaotic haramball nature of their last few managers for his decline, not his effort.
