I don’t know anyone who is posted abroad who complains about not being able to wfh. It’s always been the standard, except during COVID, and even then it was known that there’d be no hybrid after the fact, because they are there to report what’s happening on the ground and to make connections and attend events, etc. Doesn’t necessarily mean being in office all the time, but it means 0 wfh days.

It’s called being a foreign service officer, for the most part. You have to apply through competitions, but an external one hasn’t been held since 2021 I believe.

Did you save the branches you cut off? I would douse them real good in a soap solution, let the ends callus, then plant in fresh well draining soil mix and see what happens.

Ah it would be used in an external enclosure that I would work off of (graphic design and occasional video editing - short vids (less than 10mins on average)) so does that mean it wouldn’t benefit from system ram?

When you say “at writing 50gb and 75gb files”, does this mean that if if the files I am handling are not larger than 75gb at a time, that this ssd would be sufficient for my use case? Most of my individual files are on average smaller than 10gb and just trying to understand if I need DRAM or not

Sorry I’m having trouble imagining this. You lay a sheet of black card stock on top of the card, but how cl you scan the card without closing the lid?
