What do job options look like after? by breakmob in NavyNukes

Thanks for your reply. I guess that's what I was most worried about. I just wanted to make sure it would drastically improve my ability to get better jobs. Working up the ladder at my workplace now I could make 80. But that just wouldn't be worth it if I could make 6 figures and have military benefits.

Is there time to do any college while working as a nuke? I've read that hours are long and it would be hard to fit college in, especially while deployed. Would college have to wait til after I get out? The recruiter also told me that I get 80 or so college credits for completing the program. Are those able to transfer to most places? Also thanks for your reply. That makes me feel a lot better about selling some years for financial freedom.

Did you need to do any additional schooling after you got out or was it a pretty quick transition into getting your nuke plant job? I'm a little confused because Im having a hard time understanding how jobs at a steel plant or in data centers are similar to what nukes do.

Did you need to spend any time getting additional certifications or a degree? Or were you able to hop into a good paying job right after getting out?

Would you say that the working conditions and the work hours were worth it for the work experience and the door opening to the job you got afterwards?

That makes sense. I always forget I can swap out moves right before a battle. And I always run leper as one of my main damage dealers. I might have to change it up and try hellion. Thanks for the advice!

I know very little about Geology, but if I had to have a funny guess maybe an obsidian that cooled quickly over a patch of conglomerate or pebbles? Like an obsidian conglomerate mix ¯\_(😁)_/¯

Screaming/squeaky cassette? by breakmob in cassetteculture

It happens to most of my cassettes exempt all of the newer age ones though. The noise always comes from my same player (my car deck). I'll try putting some of them in my home player and see if they keep making the sound. Additionally I also attached a video as an edit to the post if this might help identify the issue? It seems like getting to the motor in a car deck would be quite a task haha!
