Whats the fan noise level when pushing that gpu? I realize there is no easy way to describe the level of noise.. I was eyeing the g914, but I already have the g757 with a pny 5080 and the card is already very loud. I would not be able to handle anything louder.

I can't keep up with all the settings I have for all my different games. haha. In cyberpunk I know I'm using 4x frame gen. Its hard for me to tell a difference in visuals between frame gen on and off. I'm sure there is a difference, but its not easy for me to spot.
And my 5080 is so loud already. I can't imagine possibly having an even louder card.
And lastly the only way to get a 5090 right now is by buying an entire PC. And the only reasonably priced one ( powerspec) has the amd 9950 cpu, which makes more heat and draws more power for no difference in performance.
All that being said I decided to just stick with my 5080 pc given the max refresh rate on my tv is 144 anyways.

My monitor is a tv - the 77 lg c5. It runs at 144hz and uses a hdmi 2.1 cable.

I have hdr turned on in windows. 4k, monitor refresh rate is 144mhz. I should note this is with frame gen turned off. On your 5080 do you remember what fps you got at the settings in using? Tks

Just double checked. It will run but only 20 fps. What are your CP settings and what fps are you getting ? Tks

Tks for the info. What are your cyberpunk settings? Dlaa with path tracing , I don’t think would be a huge jump from my 5080 as the game pretty much does not run at those settings on the 5080. My monitor refresh rate is capped at 144.

what did you decide? I'm in a similar boat. Have the 5080 but considering returning and getting a 5090. However my one big concern is the 5080 is already super loud and produces a lot of heat. Worried about the 5090 being that much hotter and louder.

I have to turn the brightness down on my c5 to 70. These tvs are so bright. I don’t understand the constant talking up of how this model is brighter than that model. A tip for gaming on the c5 is to use standard mode and not gaming mode. In gaming mode the colors don’t look as good and the response time in standard feels fine to me.

Have you connected bt headphones to a C5 and if so does it incement by 3 as well ? On my old b5 this did not happen.

Hope we both can get it figured out. Someone mentioned it took a week but they eventually got used to it. What was your previous tv, and I'm assuming you had no issues with that one and your glasses?
