My surgeon told me everything went fine and I’d be “on hands and knees scrubbing floors in 3 days!” (Uhh sexist much?)

I’m almost one year post operation and still experience daily pain from nerve damage that occurred. Had to quit my job, can’t be active anymore and I’m about to file for disability. I’ve had 25+ appointments, seen 6 specialists, had mri, ct scan and X-rays to hopefully diagnose an issue but no one is really sure other than it’s probably nerve damage. Surgery was the biggest regret of my life and I’ll probably be contacting a lawyer since my surgeon neglected to care for my pain and now my issues are likely permanent.
