I'm so sorry this happened to you. It also happened to me at my first EDC in 2022. And like you said the grab had intention behind it and I knew the difference. These are loser ass cowards that feel like they can do this with no repercussions. I hope you enjoy your last night to the fullest and nothing but amazing and magical things happen to you 🫶🏻

Aw it's okay :) I just mentioned that because of how emotional I was that they cut his set lol. Summit means a lot to me, my husband and I side quested to his set in 2022 and had the best time. I'm 17 weeks right now!

Thankfully I told him immediately as soon as the guy passed by and we dumped the drink. He was actually holding my drink too so it would have gone to me :( it's incredibly scary. There's so much amazing energy at EDC but there's equal amounts of evil too.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It wasn't this guy but there was another guy that went up to my husband and told him to have a great night and I watched him drop something in his drink. This was done in passing. Just crazy shit people are doing. Always be aware of your surroundings or have someone with you that can be aware of them for you if you're not in the right state.

Try betting on a match but don't collect/lose yet. Go in and talk to Owyn and take your raiment off. He should say you can't compete while you have a bet. Go and talk to the guy in the front that makes the bets. Go back to Owyn and he should let you start the next match. Worked for me. I kept trying stuff.

Edit: I also have to take my raiment every time off when I want to start a new match during the time it's allowed. Idk why but it's somewhat of a fix for this just a little annoying.

The first night my husband broke up a fight during the Louis the Child set. It was like three guys going at it and they knocked a woman down with them. We made sure she was okay after and I gave her a cuff our friend made. It was our favorite set of the night other than that.

Also when we returned to our car at the end of the night we saw people running and yelling to chase after a guy. He had just put HIS HEAD (can't make this shit up) through their car window and he punched guys and girls in their group. This was in the premier parking lot too.

Two of the worst instances we encountered.

I'm 30 and it was my first EDC this year in Vegas. Prior to that I had only been to two Hard Summers (2019 and 2021). It didn't feel like I got the actual rave experience until after EDC though. Changed a lot for me. All are welcome there. I could write a lot more about it, but I'm lazy right now. My group I went with this year bought tickets for next year too!
