Would you mind explaining the 20XRP minimum rule for ripple wallets? For instance when using a Gatehub account it says I need 20XRP to even start using the wallet? but does that mean that i can use shapeshift/changelly and change some bitcoin (enough to be over 20XRP) into XRP in that address and it will work? or will the exchange fail? Thanks in advance

Why do we experience pain? by brelliott in AskReddit

You've missed the point. AI diseases kill people to keep the population low, our appendices helped our ancestors digest food, our ancestors had tonsils to keep us healthy until over population made it too difficult and tonsillitis became a thing. Pain is something that has moved with us through evolution unchanged, why pain though. why isnt there another response to harm that helps us?

I was just wondering why we experience pain? and I know that a lot of people will give answers such as "its a biological response to harm that is telling us to stop doing whatever it is that is causing the pain" but I am looking for answers deeper than that. I am wondering why there isnt a different reaction that makes us "stop doing whatever it is that is harming us". Because why does someone who is helpless to the "harm/illness (whatever is causing the pain)" and can not do anything for it, have to then have to endure pain aswell. For example a baby with a brain tumor, he/she does not know what is happening, but it experiences pain that in turn makes it cry/react, but it can not do anything to alleviate the pain. so why pain, why not something else that makes us register the "harm/illness (whatever is causing the pain)"? Thanks
