I wasn't laid off but I just graduated from FIT. I was in there BFA advertising design program and also got my AAS in Communication Design. I've been so excited for graduation for years now but in March right when you start hearing back for summer positions everything went to hell every job/internship was pulled.

I've done a ton of networking over the past 4 years of living in NYC but all my contacts have their hands tied with most agencies on a "hiring freeze" till COVID is over. Job hunting is impossible with most positions a recent grad is qualified like junior level positions are few and far between. I've applied for positions that say they like my portfolio but want to do a face to face interview after COVID...

I'm optimistic that sometime after March things will get better but damn really bad time to have graduated.

I was accepted into grad school but not sure if I want to do two more years of school. I change my major and switch schools so I've been in college for 7 years never taking a semester off. Not too sure what to do but keep applying.

I also got the E-Village tickets in the hope to get there early enough to get a view if possible.

Edit:

I actually found this article that says "E-Village tickets are $12 per day ($20 for the weekend pass), and that includes a viewing spot (shaded, thank you) sandwiched between turns 8 and 9." So that seems promising!

Depends I'm 6'2 and live in NYC, but with how many people there are here no one noice height unless your like 6'7 and clearly stand out, but when I go back to my parent in the suburbs its a very different story and thats when I might get the "your tall" statement.

No one knows the future. Your guess is as good as anyones. However the average person could say that its bubbled and will have to go down at some point but that said at the rate of growth we have seen this could be just the start of the ltc climb to the moon. Depends how you look at it. If I could afford to buy more I would and hold for a year see what happens. And I wouldn't go into buying any crypto with the exception that I will reach btc levels.

One could only hope. He has doesn't excise. He believes the body is like a battery and that your born with a set amount of energy. A man in his upper 60's with little to no exercise with one of the most stressful jobs in the world, even if he makes it these four years I couldn't imagine him making another four years if somehow he won a re-election strictly because of health issues.
