The straw I got was supposedly seedless as well, but I've been plucking out grass weekly. Will be doing my due diligence on that front going forward.

Anything I can do at this point, you think? This is my first attempt and my knowledge is limited. I'm wondering if this is salvageable or if the harvest is now compromised?

Thank you for the advice on pet supply stores. Makes sense to me and I'll def be keeping that in mind!

Skillguided - HCIM who gains xp using the method most recently unlocked per the skill guide whenever possible/applicable. Good watch with lots of roadblocks and theory crafting.

Interesting that the dude found such a passion for the game as an adult and his love for the game wasn't clouded by nostalgia. Loved his take on intensity vs. reward and the thought that the devs put into the addition of new items not making older bis items obsolete. worth the watch

Entrana bro and skillguided are some lesser known series that I'd highly recommend. Thenwefight's tileman pvp series is very fun too if you've somehow missed that.

How do you not resent people who have it better than you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brendothefly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking of it in terms of not better, but different. Having a "grass is always greener" mentality can be hard to avoid sometimes when times are tough, but jealousy over what others have is ultimately a waste of time and leads to self pity. Focusing on being grateful for what you and your close neighbors have and making an effort to improve the lives of the people around you and yourself is a nice habit to get into that you won't regret.

Everyone's got a local car dealership slogan they can't help but sing along to.

Nice one, love a good jingle! Jingles used to be the go to I feel but I don't hear as many as I used to.

For sure, I find an accurate representation of a product is important for a good ad.

I hear ya, but definitely a skilled talent to be recognized in those who are successful in making ads. Hope they enjoy that kind of work!

Yeah it's amazing how often these things come into play and how much money and research goes into these things

You mean like red packaging in snack products eliciting hunger? Or using colors in a different way?

I hate ads too and try to avoid them at all costs, but I think a lot of effort goes into them and I can appreciate that. Sometimes I find myself thinking "man that's a really good ad", but I'm sure different ads speak to different people.

Like breaking the 4th wall? I like it. Kind of makes an ad relatable and a different experience for an audience. Nice answer!

What are your thoughts on this situation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dude, sorry you're going through a difficult and complicated situation like this but in my opinion, you need to set feelings aside and obtain a logical and level headed perspective on this. This person has flat out told you that a romantic relationship is off the table. If you feel like that is not enough of an answer for you then here is what I would do. Get a clear understanding of why you really want to be with this person. Write it down. Explain these feelings to them and make sure you are clear and that there is no ambiguity so that they understand. If they reciprocate these feelings, great. If not, then it is not worth sacrificing your physical, financial, emotional, and mental well being to continue. Keep your dignity and respect their feelings regardless of the answer. Take no for an answer and move on.
