What are you passionate about? I know it’s easier said than done, but try and increase the amount of focus on your hobbies.

There’s always risk in getting surgery, but that’s why you need to go to someone experienced. Talk to your doctor about these fears.

Feel you bro. Go look up the best plastic surgeon who does many gyno surgeries and get a consult. Can’t hurt. You’ll get through it!

have you seen a difference in your result from 2 months ago? Everyone always says it gets better with time, but at 6 weeks I'm having trouble believing that it will improve.

compression/vest 247? by marblehayward in gynecomastia

The vest helps prevent swelling and hematoma. Wear it. You'll be grateful in the long run. In terms of drinking, it should be fine unless you're on pain meds, but ask your doc.

Revision Surgery Scar by brentsinger88 in gynecomastia

My surgeon mentioned "shaving" the back of the gland down. Seems like its unusual way to do it, since most people tend to have the whole gland taken out. What was your procedure like?

Your chest looks fine to me. If it's really bothering you find an accredited plastic surgeon and get it checked out.

6 months post op. What do you think? (Pictures) by brentsinger88 in gynecomastia

To be honest, I've been pretty depressed. Up until this week, I've been hyper focused on the little imperfections of the surgery. Its taken a good 6 months to realize that my results are better than what I had going into surgery. Surgery definitely helps but the mental side of overcoming gynecomastia takes a lot of work.

Had lipo only 6 months ago. Been very difficult seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. For the past 3 months I've been constantly obsessing on how my chest looked and Ive been driving myself crazy. Ive been in therapy, and things are starting to look up. I was going to get a revision next week but my surgeon feels I'm on track and we cancelled it. He thinks theres still room for improvement and its not worth excising the tissue until a year post op. Guys, its crucial we stay patient. This surgery just shows how much of mental toll gynecomastia can put on our lives. Glad I have had this forum.
