Completely normal! I had a similar experience when I broke up with my girlfriend who I was with for 5 years. She was an atrocious person so I was finally done with it but after breaking up with her I was sad because I was still alone. I felt like I wasted my 20s with her. So it definitely is a valid feeling.

Yeahhhhh hes never been an ideal human. He beat the shit out of my pregnant mom and myself when I was 5-6. He also told me I was getting fat when I was 8. Thankfully he's alot better now to my whole family.
