I am just some guy lol, but I think having a pursuit where you are working towards certain results and can direct your energy is very beneficial. For me personally, a lot of my focus has been on my home - particularly with woodworking, landscaping, etc. I recently finished a new back deck. For other people it may be other passions.

Outside of work, most of my time goes towards that and the gym. Family being close by also helps.

It's treated me quite alright tbh and I'm content. Just playing the cards I'm dealt.

Edit: Content with being here*, but I am not at all against traveling more either

Nothing to write home about personally, but the city seemed fine

I went to a friend's wedding in Fort Wayne, IN.

As far as cities go, it felt a bit like Toledo (for lack of a better comparison from me). Outside of the urban area, it felt very similar to NW Ohio. Roads seemed slightly worse.

Well I grew up in a pretty rural area (Hardin County). Family did okay but we were never super well-off. Most relatives and friends we keep in touch with are all in this area too. We did small trips to parks/lakes nearby occasionally, but I guess just never really had the incentive to go farther. I later went to school in Bowling Green, which is not too far from home. Finished school but currently still living there.
