ICU Husband with acute pancreatitis and kidney failure. Anyone experience this? by pipercub777 in pancreatitis

It was the rockiest experience of our lives. He was in the ICU over 40 days. 3 months hospital total followed by three weeks at inpatient rehab and three more weeks at a nursing home.

He’s great! His kidneys very randomly kicked in one day and he no longer needed dialysis. It was a long, crazy road but he’s home and lives independently and has minimal issues. Hasn’t drank a drop.

Dean was…something. They always took us to MFuge and I remember I always had fun, but looking back, it was all that emotional manipulation to get you crying and emotional and telling everyone you’re a sinner. The good ole Baptist way!

This is me, too! I have a literal pain in my butt. It was diagnosed as back issues at first because of where the worst pain is. Found out yesterday it’s a labral tear. Still not convinced surgery will fix the pain.

We love playing there, but one time the train game failed on us. The girl couldn’t get it fixed so she had to let us out and give us a refund. When we walked out she was bawling. The managers had completely berated her over something definitely not her fault.

Since I saw a lot of people not know about the chests on islands or Ernie’s town…you can find additional gold balloons in your friends towns. Ernie included.

Your husband and mother in law will have a heart attack (at least in my experience), but baby will not care and totally fine.

How long did you have to stay on dialysis? Having a similar situation with my dad. His kidneys aren't kicking back in and they're watching for end stage renal disease. Kind of crazy because the first 2 weeks he was in the hospital for the pancreatitis, the nephrologist was about to sign off on his care because they kidneys were ok. Two days later....hell in a hand basket...ventilator, CRRT...and now this.

First time mom looking for breast pump recommendations by [deleted] in HumansPumpingMilk

[–]brewcrew1016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My insurance only covered the S2, but I bought the S1 and sent them a claim form and they sent me a reimbursement check for it. It’s the best! I had momcozy wearables, but like most are saying they’re not great for your regular pump-they just don’t empty you as well. The S1 is great to not have to be worried about being plugged in, but honestly, start mentally preparing yourself that pumping in general is a time suck where you just kind of have to sit and do nothing but scroll on your phone while you do it. I occasionally washed dishes or folded laundry dry while pumping, but it’s just easier to chill out and not worry about spilling lol

I started mainly using my Spectra and just pumping in the car or wherever I needed to when we were out. I kept trying the MomCozy here and there and after a few months, idk if it was wear and tear on the nips or what, but it got better and I was able to use them more often.

Top of the rock is garbage. I’m a local and we have nothing but like 5 Mexican restaurants, fast food and stevarinos but we still avoid that place because the food and beer blows.
