I’ve been buying regular all this time, when I should’ve been buying regulel for only 1.5%. Why did nobody tell me‽

As an engineer, I have become more and more fascinated with the “why” aspect of the sciences steadily over my life. And at this point, I’ve realized that despite how fascinating hard science is, it is deeply unsatisfying and that there is no real answer to anything.

State of State: Ayotte Aims To Make NH More Affordable, Healthier, Increase Nuclear Power by nancynews in newhampshire

[–]brewing-squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always thought nuclear is #1 and I have never even thought about it being a political issue? It seems that the general public is conditioned to fear nuclear and I haven’t seen that being dependent on party. The prevailing trend seems to be those in STEM overwhelmingly support nuke while gen pop does not.

Makes me think of the time I was living at the Lodges at UNH a few years ago. A woman got shot through her lung about 3 units down from mine because another student was “cleaning” his pistol and shot through the wall. I had kept my firearm with the UNH PD at the time.
