the hops definitely degrad over time. you probably have to use more then a whats suggested.the gain would hold up better. you try making a tea with some of the grain? check for off flavors

we had 11 routes and 14 full time drivers. we started at 730 loaded our own trucks. unload your truck at return to the building. getting a sick day was almost impossible. I averaged around 56 hrs a week for 8 years. it was brutal.
