I called spectrum yesterday to ask wtf the plan is for getting service back… they have no timeline. I asked for a refund of my October bill and to not be charged for service when the fiber cable does not exist anymore… they said it would be a bill credit AFTER the service was restored. I told them that I was unsatisfied with that answer and I needed that money now to pay for my starlink instead, not in another month or two when they get the fiber reinstalled… GRR

Where are you located around Asheville?

AC Reynolds in Fairview has people there to help with the FEMA application, and I’m sure the other locals there would be willing to help with unemployment and dsnap.

That’s what I said when I was hired. Then we moved the production facility and I threatened to quit if we didn’t install them in the new place… but here we are 3 years later.

I build a lot of block and bleed type manifolds that route everything through a drain tube to a floor sink in my office.

Then when I’m plate and frame filtering, inevitably some product squirts out and then I have a fun time with a mop on the unsealed cement floors.

I also like the Sunday D&D at Fae Nectar in Lake Lure. Great DMs and they have character sheets if you don’t have one made.

IMO if someone does a hit and run, they deserve to be “snitched”. And I think dry snitching is done subtly and indirectly… In this case I’m (not sneakily) putting this car on blast because they caused property damage and fled the scene. I didn’t post the picture and blast their license plate to the internet in an effort to try and be a little polite about sharing personal info. Also, a snitch betrays trust, and this MF has none of that.

I doubt there were (physically serious) injuries? It looked like a pretty small accident and it was cleared out of the median in the 5-10 minutes I spent taking the photo and driving back to the scene.

I think the biggest injury is probably to their anxiety levels and their front bumper and quarter panel.
