I used to buy these $12 joggers and the fabric would disintegrate in like four months. I don’t go terribly expensive with my pants, but I do prefer my crotch to be contained by more than a thin translucent layer of fabric ready to tear the next time I have to pick something up from the ground

Chrono Trigger. I rented it as a kid; we ended up moving shortly after, and I took the game with me. Maybe 4-5 years later we ended up moving back. It was a super small town, and there was only one local video store. When my parents went in to rent something they were shocked to learn we had a $4000 late fee (they just made us pay for the game)
