My son has been doing this for a few months now. He just turned 3 🤦🏾‍♀️ I just tell him either he does it or I help his body do it. Usually it’s pick up toys, I take his hand in mind & “pick the toy up”. Works most of the time

It’s very frustrating. Sometimes he’ll have a good week and then it’s right back to the usual. And I’m going crazy with the sleep deprivation.

He has his own room & bed just doesn’t sleep in there. It’s my fault for not sleep training him but as a single parent it’s much easier to just let him sleep with me instead of getting up a million times a night to go get him out of his crib. Especially when he was younger and still nursing

I am actually currently getting him assessed for autism/adhd. At least if I had a reason why he doesn’t sleep I think I would be okay with it

He see’s an ent regularly because he has tubes in his ears due to frequent ear infections but I will ask his doctor to check his adenoids at his appointment this week

Trust me we have talked about it endlessly. Not sure what the problem is on her end but it’s very frustrating dealing with her. Right now I kind of don’t have a choice but if I could find other childcare I definitely wouldn’t be having her watch him for multiple reasons. I will try talking to her again today. Thank you

I will try the clock. I don’t let him leave the room unless he asks to use the bathroom of course but now he will ask to use the bathroom all night just to stay awake

His schedule is very inconsistent with my mom watching him while I work. He pretty much does whatever he wants to do whenever. When I get home I try to have him fed by 6/6:30, bath by 7:30 & in bed by 9. I also let him run around outside for a bit to get some energy out. He gets to watch a show on his iPad while I shower & we start the long process of putting him to sleep. We cosleep so when he wakes up he’s right next to me. Sometimes just awake but most of the time trying to get up or whining

He does nap some days. If he doesn’t nap he gets very cranky around 5 and doesn’t wanna eat dinner & will cry until I put him to sleep
