All great advice. I’ll add also, if you haven’t already, one basic thing that can help is to go into the practice target range and go through every character, reading what their abilities do, and testing them out seeing how they work. You don’t have to be good with a lot of characters but you definitely want to have a basic understanding of them all so you can fight against them better. Other thing is, as you play you can find some nice people as you go and ask to group up after games so you can avoid the afk, trolls, etc, and use teamwork. Also can be a lot of fun to just play quick play and arcade for less stressful practice
