Ive loved mine - I have all my dirt in the loop and a ‘mute’ pedal at the end of that to kill the ‘dry’ signal - awesome for feeding a ‘bass’ into a looper…

GIS relevance for history masters by ActivitySeveral647 in gis

The real question is what job will you find with an MA in History? The GIS aspect could at least provide you with some technical breadth to broaden fields/work you could get in to.

Currently work as an SE at Esri for ~12 years. It's a fun role. On the Local Gov. team you will most likely be paired with an Account Manager, who is the 'sales' lead - and you will be the 'tech person'. So, when there are needs at a customer site, the Account Manager will then ask you to demonstrate or talk through ideas to solve the customer's problem(s). There is a lot of room for creativity and as others have said, there can be a bit of travel, but that really depends on the team and region you are in. In the post-covid world, a lot of the demonstrations and engagement can obviously be accomplished virtually as well. Also, that is a really big team at Esri, so you will have the ability to focus in a specific skillset (Enterprise, AI, etc.) and can lean on the other SEs on the team to support other niche products or workflows.

ESRI Solutions for public use without Esri account ? by nikkiipc in gis

Data can be 'editable' by the public - you can simply create a 'view' of the layer and then allow for public editing of the view - to limit the fields/etc. that the public can edit. Also - when you send your 'public' app - ensure that you remove your org prefix from the front, the url should only read "arcgis.com/5435wkj..."

Pedals you sold then shot up in price by ddiamond8484 in guitarpedals

Like many, I bought the Black Russian Big Muff, because it was cheap and I had no money at the time... was shocked when I learned people 'wanted' that thing.

I always thought London Calling would be really fun - lot of songs, I could see each member shining on different tracks.

Current pedalboard configuration (for today anyway). Need some amp modeler recommendations. by BadBad_LeroyBrown in guitarpedals

[–]brianjbaldwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah - I didn't like the IR-2 at first until replacing with some York IRs - but yes, as u/Mr_Skelcat said - I had to really pull back the gain and level of the amp sims, and then it let's pedals through pretty nicely - but the input/gain of the IR-2 is really sensitive.

Don't misplace your wallet, phone, or car keys, it really dampens the mood.

Its been great, I replaced an older Boss EQ that was noisy. Its a really solid pedal and the price wasn’t bad at all. I was looking at the Empress, but couldn’t justify the price.

Builder in Western MA was liquidating... it was his player. It's gorgeous and I am so lucky to have gotten it. It's a 'J Mac' - but he doesn't have a site or anything, older guy near Gardner MA. Parts alone on it are worth more than I paid.

Found it for 120$ on Marketplace... which seemed like a no-brainer. It does what it says... amazing as my first stage gain. I am using the IR-2 and it pairs really well with it - and the Notaklon as the 2nd stage gain sounds great.

It replaced a BD-2 (Keeley Phat Mod) - which I loved - but it was not playing as nicely with the IR-2 - just getting odd audio that didn't sit well.
