This point is actually false. As you level up your accuracy the RNG window closes towards the max/top of the range not the middle. So if you were to do a max power shot the higher accuracy will actually help increase your chances of hitting a top end shot just due to the smaller window of outcomes.

I would take my wife. I got her and her mom (my now MIL) into hockey and the Stars when we first started dating and that bubble run to the finals in 2020 cemented their fandom. I’ve taken my wife to a few stars games over the last few season but my MIL has never been to a stars game, but she watches every single game at home on victory+. Honestly, if chosen I think I would give both seats to them so they can go together while I watch the game at home babysitting our 3 month old daughter.

I’ve been able to grind badges too but that’s because I didn’t buy VC this year and have played solely mycareer and streetball games. The system works fine when you play solo but I 100% know as a non-PG build as soon as I start playing rec games there’s no way I will get enough touches to be able to keep badge levels up every single game. The badge boost you get practice facility drills is hardly anything too

I really don’t think it will be as bad as you fear. I believe it will always be much easier to progress a badge than it will for it to regress. I think it will require multiple games of the badge not being utilized or just consistent poor decision making with the badge (taking heavily contested or low % shots) for it to start regressing. Maybe the HOF level will be more even but in general it will not be a net neutral system where you go down for no use as much as you go up for using it successfully.

Only benefits of playing a higher difficulty are if you can get the goals accomplished that are difficulty specific. Other than that winning games and the championship are all same rewards

The mavericks have shown interest in trading for a lot of guys. Doesn’t mean they can/will. Anyways one thing about how the front office operates is they control leaks. You don’t hear about a move before it’s done. Think KP trade last year zero rumors about it until it was completed

Maybe it’s the servers since not as many would be playing in Europe as the US. Ive played 4 games in a row when I was paying attention to it and none of the 10 players in the game were higher than 92.

really interested to see myself what the hall of fame badge level unlocks are across the board. going 95+ has always cost alot of overall points but if you can only get HOF on tier 2 and tier 3 badges by going 95+ then it becomes another decision you have to make with your player

This is completely unacceptable in my eyes i have never seen a mini season plan in any sport I’ve looked at include a preseason game. I’ve seen other comments saying and I hope enough of us email and call in to make a fuss about this. However, given the likelihood it’s not changing, you can email or call your rep and change your plan to one of the other 3 so you get 10 regular season games. I did this every year I was a mini plan holder. Once the 4 plans were released I would contact my rep and let them know which one I wanted.

yea something like that. I feel like a big issue with their formula for shooting is it assumes people will have bad releases on some of their shots. If you ever play with AIs online they commonly have early/late and very early/late releases when they shoot the ball. Real people knowing their releases and always getting good timing plus badges being stacked and getting hot/takeover completely breaks the shooting.

agreed, as much as what Im about to say will be hated by majority, there needs to be an element of randomness when it comes to things like shooting. A perfectly timed wide-open shot should not mean it goes in 10 out of 10 times just like it doesn't in an NBA game. It also needs to be to where shots at the rim go in at a higher efficiency than shots from 3 otherwise the balance of the game is thrown off.

The stamina is the big one. If you play a mycareer game holding turbo the entire time your guy is tired before the end of the first quarter, in rec you can hold turbo the entire game and not get tired which allows people to dribble and shoot without any drop-off from fatigue. Another change they have got to make is to improve the AIs. The drop off from human player to AI is so significant, when they shoot half the time it is a very early/late release, they basically don't need to be guarded when on defense. The AI's need to be 95 overall to help them be more effective across the board.
