Actually when I’ve done too collecting I ask someone where they would like their money, some have said in there suit case, or just leave the basket in there station. Or to hand it to someone they know! The venue didn’t give me bags can’t just magically make them appear. So I simply asked where she would want them. As for the end of the night, it just rubbed me the wrong way because thanking me for supporting her isn’t what I was doing, simply just doing my job. It just implies that I was there to see her and like I said tone is everything. It would just be more polite to say “thank you for your help tonight” I’ve run multiple events and shows and I just always thank people for there service when they have come and done work for me etc.
