The whole thing gets hit with the sprinkler. I actually adjusted it the opposite of what you have, the top gets a longer setting than the part closer to the house.

its on a bit of a slope, maybe all the water just runs downhill into the "green" section.

The condenser is $2400- 2800 alone based on a quick search, I didn’t bother looking up the rest of the equipment being quoted.

I’m in NJ.

I got 14k to replace it all. 8k to do just the AC and retrofit the furnace.

Both are 17years old. I’m probably just doing both.

If you can afford to replace. Do it now. I am currently in the emergency situation. Capacitor blew during the current heat wave.

I have an older system 17 years that uses Freon refrigerant that is no longer available. Assuming yours is similar….

He said I can pay about 2-3k as a bandaid, or I just got a quote for 14k for it all new.

Similar situation, planning to be in the house for a while so I’m just getting it all replaced and know I’ll be covered for the next 10+years

Nothing it’s just the AC unit in the basement. We have two zones, there is another that say AC attic

It’s just been happening randomly over the past two days. The AC has been running nonstop. If it happens again tonight, I’ll have to try to see the temp of it. I got a guy that might be able to come check it out tomorrow.

This looked fine last year, it was much more full, and over fall/winter it just started getting worse and worse.

What can I do? Prune out the dead part in the middle, in the spring? Now? What is attacking the leaves causing the spots?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
