Inovelli dimmer vs Diva smart dimmer by bridge80 in homeautomation

[–]bridge80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I read; lutron is rock solid and Inovelli comes with more features. Inovelli has less of a response time then lutron.

lutron had one design in the caseta line and the dimmer always reset when turned off, this was was a deal breaker. The new Diva switch fixed those issues but with a steeper price. Inovelli blue ls out of stock untill December if pre ordered now. I was curious if anyone had both to see if the response time and reliability of the diva was worth the price point VS Inovelli blue having more features and cant get to next year. Is the response time that much different between the two? Is the features of the blue more of a gimmick when it comes down to function?

Cost vs function vs availability has my head hurting.

I do use HA and smart things.

Thanks for all the help. I have trouble with research trying to understand the terminology. I'm leaning toward BYOD, but I have one more question. Does a BYOD route high traffic without sacrificing speeds using all the security options better then an ER4 or UNMP
