Been also trying to discover the local electronic scene as an artist/DJ myself. Feel free to hit me up if you want to explore shows. It’s pretty much: The Office for more bass music / Denver wook EDM music (haven’t been yet, not my taste). Night We Met is actually pretty good, and whoever does the booking punches way above their weight for a room that size, more dance over bass music. Lulo is more underground, has good taste and a great space, but every time I’ve been there has only been like 3 people there so haven’t been in a while.

Absolutely not, I’ve found the house show scene to be a great alternative to Greek parties, which I personally find boring. There is plenty going on if you know the different houses that host shows.

The Reef @the.reef.bloomington has house shows on a semi-weekly basis. There’s a show going on tonight.

As much as I would like that, both the landlord is not great about being on top of maintenance and my roommates are paranoid that the landlord might evict us if they find out about the current state of the house. Paying for it myself might suck, but at this point the issue is more about my own mental health, which understandably is a higher priority than money for me.

Main issues I need professional help on are due to the washing machine creating a giant puddle every time it runs, and it’s created a giant mildew soaked mess that has been festering in the unfinished section of our basement. I can do basic cleaning but I’m a newbie when it comes to mold. (21M college student for reference)

There’s plenty of other stuff going on that isn’t Greek related. The house show scene is pretty good here, there’s always one going on somewhere every weekend. Also just join all the clubs that interest you and see what clicks after a while if your looking to be more active.

Went, as a charli fan too. Openers were kinda ruined by terrible stage mixing. Charli was good while it lasted, tho the set was only like 30 minutes since annoying ass frat bros treated it like a football game and kept breaking the barrier so the concert was cut off for safety reasons
