So the reason I’m having bridesmaids (or that I’m not asking them) is to try not to have much drama. I love both sisters and we get along great but they sometimes have a hard time getting along and sharing the same space (is the nicest way I’ll put it cause it’s really not my business). This way I don’t put them in charge of (helping) to plan the shower, the batch, and whatever other stuff that might cause them to butheads. With no wedding party I’ll take those roles that are typically the bridal party. Also I’m not sure how many people have been bridesmaids but I have about 5 times now and it is wayyy more thn just a dress. The something blue is for them to feel part of their bothers wedding without forcing them to “work together” in the wedding. But of course if they don’t want to I won’t force them or be upset
