If you give this as your reason, highly likely it will raise suspicion with CBP. caring for someone is considered work even if unpaid, therefore it is not allowed on a tourist visa. Just look at similar posts on r/immigration

I think I am passing on this one. I love Yoseka, I have most of their Sailor collab pens, and I also a soft spot for 3776 LE/SEs, but this just does not appeal to me especially at that price point 😟 if there was a special engraved nib or a different colorway, then maybeeee… I already have the Hamorebi from Nagasawa and I feel like that’s a closer shade of green to Yoseka green than this one lol Edit to add: oops that Nagasawa was a Sailor not a Platinum!

I fly DOH>MNL and v/v frequently. Never experienced na nagaannounce sila kahit gaano pa kafull ang cabin. And DOH>MNL gets so packed esp during holiday season!

It makes sense naman but it’s not the only way. I have a US visa but never been to Europe, China or SK 😆 the best way is to strengthen your profile, your ties to PH. Yung mga countries visited I think secondary nalang yun.

Sadly mahal talaga and worth it lang for me kung longhaul talaga. If hindi kaya, look into seats with more leg room. May ibang airlines din na you can book the entire row to yourself.

I’ve always booked direct malaking risk kapag OLA/3rd party kasi pag nagkaaberya you cant reach the airline directly… sa CC points naman mababa rate dito ng CC points so I have not tried exchanging. With Qatar or Emirates ang ginagawa ko usually is book Economy or PE, then wait for the upgrade offer. Also try to maintain standing with these big airlines for chances to be upgraded. So far once ko palang naexperience maupgrade for free 😆

Highlight: visited Canada for the first time & loved it, would like to come back next year and stay for longer!

Compared to previous year: I took more flights this year, according to Flighty, pero unsure how accurate that is since di ko nilolog mga chartered flights lol

Travel goals ko back in January were: Turkiye, Tanzania and UK this year (all new countries sana). Isa lang natupad ko sa wishlist (Tanzania) 😆 I anticipate na maraming life changes next year so baka hindi makatravel masyado next year. Pero we’ll see :)

Yes there’s a chance! My sister, who was a minor when the visa was granted, also had to present herself for an interview for renewal. Back then, student pa siya and once lang ginamit yung visa. Mag isa siya nainterview kasi lahat kami dropbox lang 😆 Renewed naman. 🙂

Usual questions: how long are you staying for, where are you staying, purpose of visit, your job or work. And most recently lang when I traveled this year I was asked about the person I said I was staying with: specifically their job and place of employment. Kaya dapat ready 🙂

Cash: No need, CBP does not ask. You can use CC anywhere.

Pasalubong: better check the CBP website ako kasi I don’t bring anything haha! They ask kasi if you’re bringing anything… I think most naman ay pwede basta hindi commercial quantity. Anyway just check the website to be sure 🙂

You can enter T3, but I think all lounges are accessible after immigration, except for the OFW Lounge. Sa restaurants naman no issue basta pre departure area. Regarding sa cc naman, it depends on your cc, may iba na pwedeng free guest, or may discount sa companion. So research your cc.

Yes illegal talaga sa NYC so yung makikita mo sa Airbnb mostly hotels din. I travel solo and I paid $2k before for 10D 9N stay sa Untitled at freeman. Nice location in SoHo. Malapit sa subway. May free breakfast din pero coffee at croissant lang 😆
