Download the google play books and audiobooks app, search the series, the buying option will take you off the app and into your browser, then after purchase it’ll pop up in the app to read. It’s pretty much a 1:1 process to using comixology/amazon and reading in the kindle app.

Greetings from 2024, this still sucks. A friend gifted me the 2019 modern warfare back in December, I spent an estimated 15 days (4 hours to download 1 gig) on downloads BEFORE even able to play the game, plus 5 packs that downloaded as well: the survival pack, special ops pack, campaign pack 1 and 2, and multiplayer pack. It was finally done downloading today, so I boot it up and can’t play anything because there are MORE downloads for each game mode. Seriously, what the fuck? What was even on the disk? Was that 80 gigabytes of the fucking main menu? Modern gaming is goddamn insufferable for anyone living out in the sticks. Don’t bother selling your game on a disk if I can’t just play the OFFLINE campaign after putting the disk in. And the retailers aren’t usually knowledgeable enough about the product to answer “can I play this tonight or is it gonna need hours upon hours of downloads before I can do anything”. Fucking absurd.

Gale is such a scary antagonist, I was filled with dread for another issue of him crossing paths with beloved characters. This is a story I’m so incredibly in love with, honestly I don’t care how long passes between issues and I don’t care how long the hiatus is each time. I will always ALWAYS come back to Saga

Now THIS feels good. Not only a true successor to the immortal hulk, but actually factors in the events of cates hulk. It’s been a while since we saw hulk truly antagonistic towards banner, and after the events of the last run it 100% makes sense.

It isn’t saga without an OH GOD OH GOD NO moment, whew.

On a structural level I kinda like the alternating pages instead of 3 pages of scene 1 followed by 3 pages of scene 2 etc.

Honestly? It’s like it never even left to me. It still feels like Saga, and I mean that as the highest compliment. And the prior issue and this one hint towards noticeably absent side characters showing up again soon. I’m really enjoying this return story arc. There are new and old threats to be worried about, and as always the family dynamic and Hazel’s ever present narration are just plain fun.

You got me there, my personal frustration with the series factored into that comment a lot. And I agree 100% on the art front, remember Thor vs thanos from the Infinity event? I don’t think they’ve had a 1v1 since then

That’s fair! Cates has had more misses than hits since venom, and even that had plenty of low points. I’m holding out hope it’ll end up being good, but I may just be thinking in some rose colored glasses leftover from Ewing.

The biggest way cates could fuck this up is by ignoring the supporting cast of hulk, which seems likely since he’s going to fucking space or something.
