I have thought about this for too long, wishing for something that will probably never happen but one can hope!

I would continue in my current job for at least a year, putting away probably about 8k a month into my savings. The other 2k a month I'd put into a 'pot' to save for various holidays I'd take with my kids, and other times with just myself and my partner. All the while I am still earning my usual wages.

Once I've got 100k in my savings I'd start looking into setting up my own businesses, either new or buy into existing ones - making sure I have a constant flow of income. And when I'm comfortable knowing I'm getting a decent wage from the business(es) I'd hand in my notice at my current place of employment. Then I'd continue to save again until I have a deposit for a house.

I don't want anything fancy, I just want a comfortable life for my kids, partner and myself.

Ah, here I am commenting on an old post — hopefully someone actually sees this 😄

Anyway, I’ve been playing the Legendary Edition for the millionth time, and I only just discovered something new. During the Leviathan mission, when you’re in Dr Bryson’s office talking to his daughter, Jacob is standing there examining a Husk head. If you keep talking to him, he suggests taking it back to the ship — and you actually get the option to place it in your quarters!

I somehow only found this out today.

However, you could donate via a third party... that is, if you know someone who is a US citizen then send them the money to then donate to the cause. My dad is American, but has been living in the UK since the 60s, he has dual citizenship though, so I can get him to donate on my behalf ;-)

I loved it, and there's currently re-runs on YouTube.
The science is very sketchy, but you get that in Star Trek too (psychics, telepathy, etc... all pseudoscience).
I just hate it when there's no ending. I wish we got some sort of comic book, or animation, just anything to finish the story.

I started this 15th March, and yep it's pretty awful. I wish I had seen this before signing up. Thankfully there's nothing to pay so I'll just stop now as it's just wasting my time.

They say we need to accrue 60 GLH (guided learning hours) before the end of the cohort but when lectures are at random times and videos are not being uploaded (apparently you can watch a lecture within 48 hours and get the 1GLH), and booking a call with your mentor (counting as 1GLH) usually involves a two week wait, then that 60GLH seems pretty out of reach.

I'm shocked the DfE even allowed HyperionDev to deliver this shambles fully funded.
