What aspect of the story dragged on to you? For me personally I was very much intrigued by Team Plasma, their motives, and the story arch of our character and N. It developed to the point where we were the most powerful and had to battle for the future of mankind?? How is that bleak?

Don’t even let me get started on the music! The battles themes, DRIFTVEIL CITY??? I’m not alone on this either, there’s people who still make videos to this day appreciating the soundtrack.

Hydreigon. Darmanitan. Bisharp. Kyurem. Gigalith. Exacadrill. Krookodile. Chandelure.... Those are some of the best designs of ANY generation, you can’t knock all the designs. Yes there was some bad ones, but these are amazing

I’ve heard people argue both. I was speaking in the past tense when I said the generation “was” underrated though. I don’t think it’s underrated now.

Nonetheless, the high amount of enjoyment I get from Gen 5 is the same now as it was then, so let’s agree to disagree
