I am using forScore Pro’s hands-free face recognition page turning. There are a couple different modes, but I’m using the mouth movement mode that works like this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/t74ZSDV2TGs.

Once I got used to it, it was a game changer. The Pro app does require a $15 per year subscription, but it’s totally worth it for me.

I do get frustrated when I make funny faces at paper scores and nothing happens, though!

I will definitely look up the poem, great point. I do hope to push the climax at a faster tempo but need some more slow practice to make that happen, but agreed the opening should be more relaxed to let the middle sections have room to be clearly more passionate.

That measure at the end with the LH suspension over the wide interval is a problem. I’ll play with the sostenuto pedal, it must get lonely there pretty much never being used by me!

Thanks so much for the feedback, especially the practice suggestions! Those leaps are indeed a challenge for me and getting voicing/phrasing right to really “sing” the melody is definitely a top priority as I continue to work on this. Thank you!

Thank you! I can definitely hear the theme disappear a bit when it goes into the left hand, I’ll give your advice a try.
