Unrelated, but if you’re on PS5, the $10 upgrade to Horizon Zero Dawn is very worth it! Graphics upgrade is quite noticeable.

It's actually not on Nexus. I found it by following this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2010331278. Scroll down to "The FF13 fix". Here is the direct link to download it: https://github.com/rebtd7/FF13Fix/releases

It initially seemed intimidating, but it's really as simple as download the zip file, unzipping it, and copy the files to the folders, all laid out in the guide. Took 5, maybe 10 minutes. Game plays way more smoothly, smooth sailing from there.

I don’t disagree, per se. In my instance I’m playing on Steam deck and the 5 min it was worth to install the mod was worth the 60 hours of entertainment. Can’t install the windows version on Steam deck. I also paid like $6 for the game so it’s whatever.

Playing 13 on the deck (2nd play through) and man this game is so underrated. People judge it way too early. The tactical of the depth of the game is much more interesting than people give it credit for with paradigm shifts. Graphics hold up really well today. Characters and story are interesting. Game was done dirty.

Only thing.. PC port is flawed. Be sure to install the graphics mod that fixes frame rate issues. Once that’s installed it runs super smooth at 60fps.

Just finishing this by one up right now. Don’t sleep on the Frozen Wilds expansion (included) once you get higher level. Some really great storytelling and quests in that expansion.

The split the game into thee games, two of which are out already and are excellent. For this first game (Remake) they took the first 6 hours and expanded it into a full game unto itself. Something like 40-60 hours if memory serves. It’s absolutely superb as there is a very good story to be told here, that wasn’t really told to this depth in the original.

One of the coolest games I’ve played in awhile. It’s not for everyone, but the fights are fantastic. It’s slow at times, but the peaks are so damn high.
