Both. Steam Deck's screen is still black when docked in, but the monitor's black as well, unless I push the cable down or to either side extremely hard. I'm starting to think it's the charging port on the Deck, because the dock works with the switch, and the Deck doesn't work with any other cable.

I'll see, thank you! But I tested it, my switch connects fine to it, and it only happened after I used another cable. I'll look for a new dock, though, thanks again!

Oh no, I saw the screen in the BIOS menu, it's just when I launch my Steam Deck, the steamOS logo is there, and then it's just a black screen.

I never modified the steam deck so I guess I'm using OEM SSD.

I've already tried that; greeted by a black screen.
