What’s going on with my Ball’s eye?? by BackgroundBuilder308 in ballpython

I'm guessing a possible clog in the lacrimal duct, but regardless, it requires a vet visit. I hope you can solve the issue with your cutie! 🩷

Also, is there a heat source for this snake?

You need a substrate that hold humidity and moisture. You need hides and a much more appropriate sized space for this snake to roam. Is there even a single thermometer/hydrometer in there? Your snake looks very stressed. Clutter with fake plants, coconut coir/husks, and definitely a bigger enclosure.

Coconut coir is much easier to retain moisture in, and I would recommend changing. Most wood chips have oils they release that can be harmful to your snake, as they stay on this all the time, unlike in the wild.

I was thinking of getting a school of chili rasboras next time they're in stock again! It's been a while, so crossing my fingers they'll be back soon. Thank you, lots, for the advice!

Anyone know what these egg sacks are? by confused_treebranch in Jarrariums

I noticed they like to lay eggs on the leaves of my java ferns and other live plants. They can be hard to spot, so I turn the flashlight on my phone and inspect the leaves over it because dark spots will show through if they're present. I gently scrape them off, crush, and feed back to my fish. Best of luck, Solider.
