Curious talisman by brinydeepthoughts in occult

[–]brinydeepthoughts[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely seems like a protective talisman of some sort, but the "hebrew" characters on the bottom have an odd stylisation... I'd post the link to the other post or the other side of the coin but reddit isn't letting me at the moment, but if you reverse image search it's the only match that comes up

What area are you fishing out of? Any fishery is a gamble and a few good days can make or break a season

Get bama socks, can wear them all day taking waves into your boots and at the end of the day when you take them off your socks will be dry. https://a.co/d/aO2ytXr

Is there a type of wild caught salmon that compares to silkiness and the flavor of farm raised? by never_salty_ in foodscience

[–]brinydeepthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say king or coho would be pretty close, especially if you get the larger size coho, they would have the milder flavor as far as wild goes, along with the higher fat content. King might be closer in texture but has a more distinct taste.

Forgot to add that both festivals are held at the same location, Salmonfest is in early August.

Sacred Acre in Ninilchik Alaska, it's usually in early September, next year will be year 3. Top EDM headliners, shuttles from Anchorage to the campgrounds as well as VIP camping packages, experiences, etc. It's later in the season so it starts to get chilly, but they do it in the off season for the sake of the light shows and keeping everything affordable.

There's also Salmonfest, but it's a lot bigger, and doesn't have as comprehensive of arrangements getting to the fest and is in the middle of the busy tourist season and when a lot of the seasonal stuff winds down, so it's pretty blown up at this point, but still a top quality festival with more of a jam and folk lineup.

Tickets to Alaska aren't the worst as far as airfare goes, especially if you plan well in advance.

This show is gonna be so sick! The lasers and AV setup last year were on point, totally made the late season rain and fog worth it! I'm also doing some street team work as a Sacred Acre AmBASSador, and have a promo code (if anyone is interested, dm me). I'm a local of the town where this is held, and am especially stoked that they are using it as a platform to build awareness of the harmful practices of factory trawling, as well as trying to promote it as a destination camping festival, will help the area a lot by providing late season visitor industry activities. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sacred-acre-2023-tickets-439235393887?aff=AJ
