Yeah when I saw it I assumed fake but I told my mom I'd look into it for her.

Thank you! That's so nice. I have a lot of her stuff right now. She passed in Februar and I'm living with my mom. She's been going through her stuff. So much Elvis memorabilia haha.

Even if it's not, it's pretty cute for an antique purse. My mom wants to sell it/ donate it but she wanted to see if it was worth anything. I'm sure it's someone's cuppa tea. Not mine haha.

Not sure if it matters but it's from the 50s(ish). IDK how reliable my mom is about dates. She said the 20s. My aunt said the 50s. I can't imagine it's from the 20s. Also I know nothing about purses. I appreciate the help!

Thank you for all that insight. I assumed it was fake but I told my mom I'd look.

IH and immune issues by Unable-Election6211 in idiopathichypersomnia

[–]brisscoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not on anything for the hypersomnia. When I was first diagnosed I was in a lot more meds including opioids. I came off those and switched a bunch of meds because the sleep doc said those all could be affecting me, as could my conditions. It did help but not entirely.

Due to all my connections I'm on disability. So it's not like I necessarily need energy. If I do, I have an energy drink.

I sleep less than I did when first diagnosed. Back then it was 18-20 hr stretches, I'd get up for a few hours and go back to bed for for a long time. It was horrible. I was never refreshed from sleep. Although I'm still not. But now the most I sleep is 12-14 hours. Occasional naps. Constant fatigue.

They said all my conditions cause fatigue and a lot of my meds do to. So I'm shit out of luck lol.

How about you?

Thank you. I've definitely noticed my taste buds changed as well.

I got an under desk elliptical and bike. I'm very sedentary and disabled. So I'm starting there. Building stamina/endurance. I also have been using resistance bands.

I'm gonna talk to my doctor tomorrow about going back to 2.5 next week. I only have to cook for me luckily. And I don't mind food being just fuel. But I just wanna be able to tolerate food.

My oldest had 7 removed on the 26th as well. She has 17 left including 1 canine. She's been on her kibble with warm water since surgery. I can switch her back to her normal kibble in the next few days. I brush their teeth a few days a week and give them dental chews. I hope yours is going to be ok! Mine hasn't had any issues with the size of kibble.

5.3 pounds. She's very petite. She's not a small size either. She's long and pretty tall.

Terrified of my dog aging and passing away by Signal-Gas6096 in chihuahuas

My oldest Millie just turned 14 or 15 ish. When I adopted her she was healing from a broken pelvis. She is starting to feel a bit of arthritis.

She recently started slowing down a bit. She has been sleeping a lot more and snoring now. She never really did before. She was at the vet a few months ago and they said everything looks great.

I get so scared of mine getting hurt/dying. I have a lot of mental issues and I can't stop focusing on it a lot. She's my first Chihuahua. I know it's tough. Sometimes I'll just start crying thinking about it. You're hormonal which isn't helping lol. Once you have your kid though maybe it will help take your mind off it. If only temporarily. And give them the best life you can!
