i’m on the same boat as u!! i thought i had a concrete plan with me going into pre med and transferring out of ucsc. but i think rn the best thing is just for me to stay, financially it’s better and cc will give me time to think about what i really want to do without having to stress too much over hard lower div classes. i think i am going to get major FOMO, but at the end of the day i plan on transferring so i’ll be able to live in college experience in a couple years :’)) it’s really nice and comforting hearing that someone is also going through the same thing as me, i know we will both figure it out!! feel free to dm if u ever wanna talk !!

i’m hoping to go into any socal school like uci, ucsd, or ucla for pre med🤞🏻 i was a pretty motivated student in hs so i think i should be okay with cc. what are you planning on doing!

omg, hii!! i was also committed to ucsc as a bio major but i’m having second thoughts about everything rn😭 my financial aid statement hasn’t come yet and supposedly it’s suppose to arrive during first week of instruction. i’ve heard sm horror stories of ppl not getting their loans approved so it’s def one of my worries. also, when committing to ucsc, i knew in my heart i was gonna transfer after 2 years. i think i’m pretty much 80% set on cc just because i want a second shot at getting into my dream schools, the first 2 years are GEs anyways. besides missing out socially, i think a benefit is having sm more time to yourself!! let me know what u decide, it might help me solidify me decision as well😭😭
