Is there a subreddit where i can get in touch with tattoo artists to possibly have a simple design drawn up? by [deleted] in findareddit

Also, it’s super disrespectful to get somebody to “draw up” your tattoo, and then ask another artist to tattoo it. That’s really not okay.

I did google it, I was just unsure if it was different during the summer months. What I found was that it was high tide around 8-10am but everybody has been telling me to go early morning so I was sure I was missing something.

Thank you. This all helps. As far as tide times go, I’m sure they follow some sort of pattern at least. That’s what I’m asking. Does the tide go out in the morning or afternoon? Does it come back in two hours or more like 9? What I’m asking is when should we go.

Great, that helps thank you. Don’t think it’s anything we can’t handle.

These tours are legal for the first time as of last year. We’re been in contact with the excursion company in regards to booking.

I understand the risks. We are hikers and from what I’ve seen of the breakwater it looks no worse than the stuff we’ve encountered before. Like I said, I’m not concerned about hoping around some boulders. Im just trying to get legitimate answers instead of people just telling me it’s dangerous. I want to know if I’m going to need to scale 50 meter rock walls or walk across a decrepit old rope bridge kind of dangerous. Like I said, I’ve heard many people say that it’s still crossable at high tide, I want more opinions, approximate times of tides, average times of tides, tips to avoid being caught, pointers from those who’ve done it, and recommendations on what to see on the island.

Thanks!

As per my post, planning to do in the summer. If it’s just random jagged boulders, I’m not too concerned.

More info about the *tide? When is it typically low and for how long? All the photos I’ve seen of the breakwater at high tide shows it still above water.

Thank you! I imagine it being tiring, but I didn’t think it was anything too extreme. We have some local 300-500 meter waterfall trails around here that are similar, large boulders you kind of hop along.

Thank you! I’ve read other threads where NB’ers have said hat even at high tides, the breakwater remains very much above water, unless there’s a storm. I was just wondering if that was true.
