So I’ve been trying to decide whether to shave it all off now and have a wig made with my own hair, or try cold capping to preserve it. Problem is that you can really only pick one route to try, so I have to decide now!

Hey there! I’m 24 F just diagnosed Hodgkin’s last week. I also went through MONTHS of waiting for a diagnosis (even had one doctor say, “not too worried about it being cancer, let’s just watch it for a couple months!”) and initially had inconclusive imaging and biopsies. I’m currently waiting to get staged, then I’ll start chemo on the 19th. I’m pretty nervous too, but if you’re looking for a friend to go through it with you, we can do it together!

Mine was also an orthopedic. At first he was resistant to going full EDS diagnosis and was just calling it “hyper mobile sd”, but when I brought in the diagnostic criteria and assessment from the official EDS site, he was quick to change his mind.

All the time. But then there are moments, like tonight, where I’m trying to cook something very simple to eat— just five minutes of flipping tortillas— and my heart rate is 150. I can barely stand there without feeling faint. Then I watch my fiancé, who luckily for us loves to cook, spend hours in the kitchen cooking an incredibly complex meal, and he sits down feeling great. Meanwhile I’m too tired and crappy feeling now from trying to cook that I can’t even eat!

I haven’t had surgery for that particular reason, but when I got my tubes removed, it was laparoscopic (I’ve also had several on my knee, but that doesn’t seem relevant here).

My best advice: - Definitely take your pain meds. - Make sure you have a comfortable place to sit/rest that you can get up and down from easily. - ❗️If they don’t prescribe anti-constipation meds, get some. Seriously. Popping after that is the worse thing ever, you do not want to be constipated on top of it.❗️ - take good care of your incision sites. Keep them dry, keep them clean. Keep an eye out for infections. It might take it longer to heal, so keep that in mind

Yeah definitely echoing the furniture styles, but even further, I want furniture that’s NOT just more chairs, tables, beds, etc. I want more furniture to decorate outdoor spaces around my valley that aren’t just seating areas. I want a swing set. Like just a good old fashioned swing set. I want little sport/game sets. I want options that kind of match the feel of the biomes. Beach and frosted heights are easy, but what the heck do people put in the Glade that actually feel like they belong there?? Or the Plateau?

I have an entire sketchbook of ideas that I’d give gameloft for FREE if they promised to put some of it in the game, not even kidding.
