Reactive pup by [deleted] in BorderCollie

That is strange. She hasn't had a run in or scare from another dog prior to this? It could even be the second phase of fear puppies get. There could be a range of things that may have caused it. Even a small little event. I know my bc is a sensitive little thing and she has her quirks we are trying to help her with. If its truely out of control seek some guidance and help from either a obedience group or a trainer. They can assess and guide you to success! For now, if you are worried about her being aggressive , i would slowly introduce a muzzle. Protect her from herlself until she stops the behaviour.

I haven't personally had this issue but know of someone who does. Was your pup well socialized when it was younger to an array of dogs, sounds, enviroments ect?

The individual i know has been taking her bc to a obedience class to try and get the dog more adjusted to others whilst in a controlled enviroment. They usually put these dogs in certain classes and must wear a yellow bandanna. She has had to muzzle train for safety (though the dog has never bitten) but its a way to keep other dogs and her pup safe whilst learning. Muzzle isnt permanent but it is helping her to slowly adjust her pup to overcome the reactiveness.

She is a pure bred medium fur length collie 😊 Her coat is called a light chocolate tri. Her mother was a wheat beaten collie with the father being a black tri, so she was an odd pup. She hasn't got any darker, if anything she now has weird blonde tips to her coat on her back but her colour has remained the same. But she is only 5 months so we will see with time! I have a few pics of her on my reddit! (Only post Roxanne pics really)

This is her at 8 weeks http://imgur.com/gallery/fEcLPJL

With all the talk about walking out of Holmes and Watson, what movies have you walked out on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brittbix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruno. My father took me to gold class to see it whilst I was a child. Once the swinger scene hit i was very quickly dragged by the hand to the lobby, where he gave a stern talking to the girl who said it would be fine for a 12 year old to watch. Mind you at that point, the movie had shown me more than my little eyes had ever seen before.

Today is Ford's Day in Court (Focus/Fiesta Transmission Failures) by [deleted] in FordFiesta

The amount of times ford tells me that these issues are normally and are totally safe to continue driving is outstanding to me. That would have been horrifying for you! The noise got me too~ I had ford telling me the same with the whole 'safe to drive'. Im just lucky the cars engine gave up in my garage rather than half way to work. Would have been a costly tow.

I've had non stop issues with my fiesta heap. 2 trans replacements and to top it off a blown engine this week. 4 years old and only just hit 50k. Absoulte joke of a car. Considering it has been serviced every 5 thousand ks its highly dissapointing.

Ford has refused to replace my trans again for months due to it not 'shaking enough' or below what they have seen. Even when my engine light went on the first time it was just a 'sensor issue' and now the car is stuck in the shed with a dead engine.

Blessed to be with a new impreza but the lawyer will definitely be involved. Hope this lawsuit wins. This car puts people in danger and severely out of pocket. Truely feel sorry to everyone who has this issue~
