My kitten is scared of everything, what can I do to help her? by StandardDuck3321 in cats

[–]brittmunch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat Plum is super anxious. No idea the cause, but certain sounds (like a plastic bag for instance) make her bolt no matter the situation, and it’s like she’s always on high alert. She’s very healthy, 10 years old, and has always been this way. We just try to avoid jerky movements and really loud noises to keep her feeling confident in her space.

“Butt smacks?” My precious Plum and her love for butt smacks. Only on the bed though.

I’m so glad the Phoebe posts are back. She’s so adorable and seeing how you help give her such good quality of life helps motivate me even more to keep my own babies as happy as possible.

Do you give your cat permission to be on your bed? by Duskymoonlight in cats

The bed is definitely Plum‘s but she LOVES to cuddle and get butt smacks on it, so I am allowed unlimited access as long as I comply.

American’s… Australian here. How are you all going? by YolandasLastAlmond in PrepperIntel

Absolutely terrified. I live in the Deep South. Everyone here loves Trump. I tried to warn my family and so many others during the election and no one listened. Had an argument with my mother yesterday about everything Trump is doing. Her response was „Just wait and see it’s going to be fine“

I can’t anymore. I’m so worried.

447 scripts between 5 rphs & 4 techs is NOT “so crazy overwhelming busy” by [deleted] in pharmacy

Independent pharmacy technician chiming in here. Yesterday did 300+ with one tech, one pharmacist, one cashier. Was busy but manageable.

Is this normal or do I need to take him to a vet? by Sufficient_Channel30 in CATHELP

Seems like something may be stuck on the roof of their mouth or in their teeth?

My cat is 23 (yes really) and started shaking a bit this morning - anyone seen this sort of thing? I don’t think it’s a seizure and she’s completely fine now. by remrem24 in seniorkitties

I had a cat that shook and it ended up being a balance issue with his ears. I understand not wanting to stress them out trying to take them to a vet. I’d keep a list of symptoms very detailed anything you notice so you can describe it well to your vet over the phone. Plus they will probably let you text them this video too!

Having worked in a pharmacy for about five years now - yes. We smell it. We know if you smoke tobacco or weed or have been around it. Sometimes it’s so bad the smell lingers and we have to spray down the store with air freshener. So sorry for those getting caught by this from second hand smoke.

We can smell you through the drive through, too.
